Welcome to Portsmouth Golf Centre
Portsmouth Golf Centre comprises a Golf Driving Range, Golf Shop, Teaching Academy and an 18 Hole Golf Course. The adjacent Farmhouse Pub provides excellent bar and catering facilities and Southsea Golf Club offer official club handicaps and competition golf.
We have easy free parking, and are open 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm weekdays, 8am to 8pm weekends (Summer) 8am to 6pm (Winter).
The Golf Driving Range is fully automated and floodlit using Srixon range balls and featuring a targeted outfield. Open 7 days a week till late, the range is great fun for the recreational and the serious golfer as well as those wishing to try golf out!
Our 1000sq ft Golf Shop carries all the leading brands in depth and specialises in Custom-Fitting. We have all the latest technology and demo-clubs to support this service including Callaway's Opti-Fit system and TaylorMade's Select-Fit custom fit solutions. New for 2008 we have added FlghtScope Doppler Radar Technology to our Custom Fit equipment.
The Golf Shop also carries in depth all the major men's clothing brands including Nike, Adidas, Lyle & Scott, Galvin Green, Polo Ralph Lauren and many others.
We stock ladies golf clubs, shoes, bags accessories and extensive collections of ladies golfwear including Green Lamb, Daily Sports, Lyle & Scott, Nike and Adidas. We normally try to bring in a new brand each year, so do give us a try!
Teaching Academy
The coaching staff comprises 3 PGA Qualified Professionals and 3 PGA Trainees offering a wide range of instruction, including group lessons and individual lessons of 30 minutes or 45 minutes.
The coaching staff has a mission of making the sessions affordable and accessible throughout the week and evenings.
